Photon Light Therapy
Photon Light therapy is an aesthetics treatment that uses varying LED wavelengths, this skincare technique purportedly helps: treat acne reduce inflammation promote anti-aging effects. Through stimulating the natural healing power of our cells, photon light therapy has gained credibility as a simple and effective, non-medical alternative to prescription medication and a natural non-invasive alternative to invasive surgery. As light therapy is not as dense or concentrated as laser what is more, Photon light therapy targets a much wider area than lasers, and while it does penetrate into the tissues, it does not heat, cause inflammation or damage to the skin cells
Photodynamic Therapy has been studied for more than 40 years worldwide during which time it was discovered that visible and infrared light has positive therapeutic benefits to living tissues and organisms on a cellular level to promote different levels of tissue healing and regeneration. Clinical tests, carried out by NASA and Stanford University have also found that light energy (photon therapy) can help relieve pain and inflammation from disease based conditions, physical trauma, work related stress, training or other high performance activity.
Benefits of Photon Light Therapy:
- treatment of the acne and helps to reduce oil production and prevents future breakouts
- alleviate symptoms of depression
- helps improve blood circulation and accelerates skin repair
- increases cell permeability, smooths lines and wrinkles, improves elasticity, reduces pain and inflammation and accelerates wound healing (anti ageing properties)
We advise minimum of six treatments to see full results from the procedure. The recovery from the treatment is immediate and with not any side effects known to be experienced. Light therapy is clinically proven to be safe and gentle to the skin. The technology has even been used by NASA. Unlike using salon tanning beds, red light therapy does not utilise harmful ultraviolet (UV) light which can damage the skin.
